game crashes (please help)

i just downloaded and installed the new patch 1.22, at the end of the instalation, it said it has encountered an error and needs to close, i hit do not send, then it said installation finished, i went go to run bf2 and it shut down. i made another post, but no one helped, so i decided to make a new one, drivers are up todate and just recently started happening

re-install Bf2(sf if you have it) then 1.22(then EU if u have it.

i re installing it now, and for the patch, it installs its self right? 1.22? and i dont have eu is that ok
