I am having a problem seeing my BFHQ. It is showing all zeros. I was wondering if you guys knew what to fix or how I can unlock weapons. It sounds like a few people have this problem and you guys seem to know some stuff. HELP!!!

Very fishy, favortie victim is 'in a round' (IAR) right? Well, if so, then it's hard to believe that anyone could find the exact same person and kill them eighteen times, IAR.

well.. I did get a guy 28 times trying getting my explosives badge on a lowly populated server... once... I killed him a whole bunch of times with a tank after I got the badge too.

but multiple times... red lights should be going off.. lol.

Yup... being obvious like that does imply some suckage.

And it's not very hard to kill the same person/be killed by the same person a lot if you're attacking/defending an area.

Especially when you're on teamspeaks saying "I'm at the [whereever] come and get some kills!".

20 kills on the same guy in a round is perty unlikely in legit play. I've spent quite a bit of time playing with the same people in low pop servers and I don't have them listed in my favorite/worse victem/enemy.

It's especially interesting to note that these kill counts both nicely match the numbers required to get the expert knife badge... and that you both got it on the same day (Feb 21).

You're SO busted.

Consitering the content of your podcast, I'd say this is perfectly on topic. Controversy over stats and stats padders. Handy that you present us all with a perfect example.

Capt.HKS: We've played together before man. It's obvious that we don't stat pad as most people do who you'd accuse of it. Yeah, we got together one round and created our own little "knife vs knife" during a round. Blame me all you want but I've never been in one of those knife only or pistol only servers back in the day. I used to play quite regularly on the Raging Rebels server before I got Special Forces. The fave victim/enemy stat is a weird one anyway. For the longest time my stat showed someone I didn't even recall killing a lot. My point is that I would think a little one-on-one action during a regular round of play on a regular server isn't such a big deal. It's the padders who sit on the outside edge of a map and throw grenades while rearming each other.

I find it unfortunate that we go through a lot of trouble to bring the BF2 community something back after all that we've enjoyed from it (these forums included). But we can't even get this news posted on the main page (which would be a welcome change from all the mod news). We all know this forum has turned into a flame fest whenever somebody says "booh" but from what I remember of you when we played together, I didn't think you'd be such a part of it. I'm disappointed.

As for my off topic comment earlier, that was in reply to #16 who posted about getting help with his BFHQ...

Kife fights are great,I usualy play kife fights when the server is relitivly empty is so much fun. Of cource someone allways ends up shooting you instead :laugh:

peekj maybe I did jump on the bandwagon. If you know me you know I don't give a rats about stats. In fact I constantly anti-statpad my account by using it to admin and suiciding all the time to do this. So stats mean nothing to me.

However, what irks me is 1 thing. People who pad for their knife badges. I couldn't give a rats about the rest but I feel that over 90% of the people who have their expert knife badges are padders. That annoys me because I got my knife badges 100% legit and still don't have expert knife. Knife badges out of any of the badges are a badge of honour and unfortunately most people ruin that by padding for them because they are hard to get. I can also prove my badges and my movie Knifing Rampage link: http://www.r2clan.com/modules.php?na...p=getit&lid=23 which was one of the most popular if not the most popular genuine ranked server knifing vids made so far. I also have the sequel all stored on BR footage, just haven't pulled my finger out to make it yet....

I came within 1 kill of expert knife the 1st time I tried for it and would have got 24 knife kills that round if some tard in my squad hadn't either tk'ed me as I was going to stab someone or shot the guy I was about to stab. Also you know when I get expert knife expect Knifing Rampage 3.

As you can see the knife stat is all I care about. Now don't even let me think what <<R2>>PSI would think with over 1400 legit knife kills, he is the real knifing madman and his vids can also be found on our site www.r2clan.com I haven't seen anyone better with a knife than him.

However having said that I do think you are doing well for the community by providing and taking time to make these podcasts. I haven't listened to one yet but I assure you I will.

I'm sure you can see where I'm coming from as I rarely wield a flame thrower as most would know.

Yes Capt.HKS, I do agree with you and I do respect your knifing skills. God knows mine are nowhere near that :) Thanks for the support about the podcast anyhow, we'll try to keep putting out episodes and improving them each time.

Zefram, we might have taken it upon ourselves to get the knife badges with that as a specific goal, but all I can do is ask you to believe me (and the stats show it) that we haven't done any other stat padding, ever. All our other stats are.... well... average
