I don't think there is a #1 Infantry player but Volx is coming in close at that though.. But there will always be a discussion about who the best infantry player is..

Ah ok.. that's fine lol the book says that Shock Paddles can kill .. How many times did I read the book and system requirements.. I was amazed that my old computer could run BF2.. Dear BF2.. I still love you.. Over all the patches that ruined our relationship.. I still love you.. Ohw I'm such an emotional person..

Flags win games, maybe you should play in a competitive clan match.

Maybe on a tiny little 16-24 player servers you seem to enjoy. However on a 64 player server pilots who kill 70 people a round tend to win games, as that's nearly a third of the enemy tickets gone as a result of a single player out of a total of 32. Oh and speaking of these tiny little 16 player servers you seem to have an afinity for, couldn't think of an easier way to get K/D ratio on a server especially when running with a competitive squad against a bunch of pub nubs. It'd be absolute slaughter to be sure. It's much easier to stack the teams on a 16 player server as opposed to a 64 player.

Reading comprehension for the win. He wasn't talking about pubbing it up. He was talking about a match between two clans.

It also cracks me up that you are bragging about owning people with a J10 in some pub. Wow that must be hard.

Well its easier to influence the outcome on a 16 player server than it is on a 64 server. Add to that some endgame switching et voila.

I'm from a non-competitive Jedi clan in Singapore. And unlike some of you, I had the previlege of playing with Lime on numerous occasions.

He is the sort of player that if you see him appearing in the opposite team, you smack your forehead and go "Sheesh!!!"
and vice versa if he's on your side you feel great straightaway, even when you are waiting for the countdown for the round to start.

If you are the gunner for Lime, he'll straightaway ask you to join his squad. And you'll be hearing things like "enemy heli straight ahead, TV him" and you'll find that he has already aligned the chopper such that the enemy heli is right in the middle of the TV missle screen.

If you are in the same squad as Lime in infantry, you will hear him say things like "watch for the sniper", "hide in building arty is coming", "spawn as AT there is a tank coming". This allows the squad to perform very well and helps win the round most of the time.

Best infantry in his bf.nut clan is not him (Lime), but Genesis. That guy is a killing machine on the ground, but he's just been drafted into Singapore's national service to serve 2 years in the army (thank goodness for all the opponents).

I can assure you that Lime is not a team switcher, not a spawn raper, not a hacker, not one who plays in noob/knife/pistol servers. He's an excellent player, just accept it

and no... he doesn't have pimples on his face

I play on the same servers with Lime as well, and I can guarantee you he is NOT a hacker. He is really that good.

First of all, on his WLR: Let's put it this way. He's almost a legend in our community, such that when people see his NAME, they actually teamswitch over to join him. He swaps teams, they follow as well. Short of changing his nick, he can't do anything about that.

And he is an excellent squad leader. He'll tell you what to spawn as, give movement orders etc. For seasoned players, we know what to do. But for newer players, it helps them learn how to respond.

Same with the helo, as the pilot or gunner, whatever he knows, he lets you know. And excellent sense of timing as well.

And I've actually seen him IRL for about an hour in a lan centre playing. Really fast, really accurate and cool.

Stop bringing your entire high pinging clan to australian servers. Seriously last time there was 16 of your 300+ pingers on one side and you still lost.

Stick to your own countrys servers

We have server issues on our end, and don't lump everybody into 1 category.

We only have 2 servers with a total of 68 slots, and Chinese, Taiwanese, Thais, Hong Kongers and so on come and play on our servers. Unless camping at the join screen is enjoyable, most people are going to find other playable servers.

We have 2 major broadband ISP providers, with varying ping levels depending on location and traffic load. Typically, Singnet Broadband averages 70-100 ping to Aus servers, and Starhub broadband averages 200-250. If you're seeing 300 ping + it's either a bad day or people from further away than Singapore.

We've complained, asked for action, but frankly, when compared with the rest of the world our market is too small for big companies to bother with us, and servers are only provided to give lip service to the notion of a 'gaming hub', and non-sg players are playing on our servers, you can see why we move to other servers.

If you guys can help us do a petition or threaten boycotts for more servers to EA and our ISPs it'll be a great help, thanks.

i think if they were really 300+ pingers they would've been kicked...

The funny thing is that you've replied to me... coz I'm the only one in the whole clan of 55 with stable 100ms ping to servers down under. I have had plenty of great games with the mates over there.

I can't stop the rest from playing in Aussie servers, just as I can't stop others from China, HongKong, Malaysia from playing in Singapore servers.

In Singapore, we only have 2 ranked servers with 68 slots (not counting 1 SF server). Last count on bf2s we have just over 1000 players, of which about 200 are in clans. So please bear with us if we do play on the servers in Australia.

What's wrong with the M203? It's a weapon, use it, even if you shot that nub with 5 bullets and one more fragment of lead into his toes would kill him and he tubes you, it's his win, it's not yours. It's not like the 203 is some haxx0r gun that is hackingly-hacked out of the game :). And it takes a little skill to actually fire a nade off the 203, it's not as easy as you think.

Ha yeah so true, join Node/GA Karkand at 2AM and every second person is pinging 200+. I wish Node/GA would lower the ping limit kicking thing to about 200, just so Volx can stay because hes a beast :)
