How do I evade other jets?
Everytime someone locks onto me, no matter what crazy stunt I do, they always end up killing me. Everytime i lock onto them, they just turn and get behind me.. How do I evade jets in your opinion? What tricks do you use?

It depends on the jet, the J10 has better manueverbility and can turn better, I fly alot and, can escape people pretty well now, use the sky to your advantage, fly high above the clouds do twists and turns then turn to go down and twist back up, usually loses them, especially if you go off bounds, they don't like that usually. -

Altitude is life
First rule- know what your jet can and cant do
Second rule- know what the opposing jet can and cant do
Third rule- dont do what your jet lacks in and opposing jet is strong in
Suggestion one- try to restrain yourself using horizontal flight only. Most of us fly navigating on the map and terrain, thus keeping ourselves somewhat linear. This makes you predictable. Try to find a new vanigation point such as sun and fly as if the sun is "ahead" and land is "back. Or discard any (even subconscious) navigation. Its tough, but man it helps. It just makes you less predictable and harder to keep tracked.
Suggestion two- flares are to create an opportunity to lose visual sight, not to buy yourself a few extra seconds.
Suggestion three- whenever hit, die with your plane.Comment

On your last point, its annoying how when your chassing someone with the jet and lock on they bail out, happened 100's of times to me, and other people who just use the jet as a taxi just to fly over somewhere and dive out to capp a flag etc.Originally posted by Chris_RedfieldComment

the missiles on the J10 hit most times on the F-35 i can kill all day on the J10 but no matter what position im in the f-35 missiles miss.
its not the flying in my view better missiles......which is mad i know you.
J-10 easy to get kills, F35 with the same flying missesComment

Yeah unfortunately, the J-10 would be using 4th gen missiles (89g+) and they are active Radar guided, with only FLARES, not CHAFF we have no real chance to evade them. There are many tactics you can use though, they all have a place and time.
Here`s 1 move you can try: The scissors (he`s gotta be close for this to work)
Roll your mount 90 degrees to the horizon (AoB) and pull back hard, count to a number greater than 5, then roll her back 180 so you are going the other way, wash, repeat untill you break the chain.
Rembember every maneuver has it`s price, and if he`s serious about splashing you!

You turn as hard as you can, pref. with height & downward g.. drop the flares if need be :)

If hes close, slow down and turn tight. He can't get a decent lock and will fly by and you can take him down immediately. If hes far and knows what to do, you better bail out unless you've got J-10.Comment
