Per round score is essentially meaningless as a point of comparison unless you are looking at 2 players who play on the same kind of server.

Think of a guy who plays exclusively on 64 player servers vs a guy who plays on 32 player servers on 64 player maps. One plays short fast rounds, the other plays longer rounds. Is one better than the other? Who knows.

Score per minute might be a better comparison although you could argue this was just as useless because again it varies greatly depending on what kind of server you play on. It's going to favor meat grinder maps like karkand.

Only the first sentence in your quote is true. There's nothing in the original post of this thread indicating a time frame. Many posters including the ones I quoted spoke of their AVERAGE (and inflated it). Anyone can say I got 200 points in my most recent round, so that's my new average. But that's a misrepresentaion.

When I 1st joined BF2 my scores where like 3 kills and like 15 - 20 deaths every round. Like most people, and now I rack up more points. Its been alot of time getting it up. Dont tell me my average per round is 40. If you can check my last month of scores. YOu will see they will average around 90 - 110.

Do you really think your better because you have more points per hour? I'm sure that has to do with you playing Karkand and Wake almost exclusively. 124 hours of Karkand compared to 1 hour on Songhua and 3 hours on Zatar

Wake Island and Strike at Karkand are my favourite Maps. Why would I play a huge open map when I dont need too? Karkand is excellent because it is so compact, 32 enemys running around all infront of you with a big arse tank. They have no hope. Especially if you know what your doing.
Wake Island? Its the best thing ever, you just go in a Jet grab heaps of height, Then you come down on all the choppers and jeeps and just own. Then when the enemy has big clumps of them you drop your 2 bombs on them and get like 8 kills for a bombing. Its alot easier than you think.
On Zatar wetlands, its such a big open map. There is only 1 chopper, yet so many AA. If you get the chopper, you get teamkilled OR You get in last alittle bit, AA gets you and then you lose the middle flag and then you have to spend the rest of the level driving around in a jeep which is weak as. No protection.
That is why I play on those maps.

You average 19.08 points in one round.

Yes, when i first started playing I would only get like 10-20 a round. Recently I have gotten better. My K/D ratio is improving and is almost 1, before it was like .7

Then there are some rounds where I join that are almsot over.

But recently, with my new unlocks, the G36E, I have been scoring way more, 50-80 each round. Sometimes 90. If you look at all the recent medals I got, there are quite a few I have gotten in the past month.

You're not lying, you just need to spend less time playing BF2 and more time in math class.

Your average is 198 point's per hour. Very good, but nowhere near your claim.

THE AVERAGE DOESNT SHOW HOW GOOD THEY ARE NOW! It averages thier spm. They might be able to get 1000 points a day now!

Thankyou for explaining that. I get 1,000 points a day now, if yuo look at my spm (Score per Minute) It will be somewherer around 40. In my 1st 50 hours on my account i probably got 2,000 - 3,500 globals? I was learning the game. If you take that out of my SPM it will increase even more. Probably still wont be around 100 but yeah.

I seem to have on and off days in this game for some reason. But if I am having a good day and play for a few hours (3 or 4) I average 50-60 points per round and get about 500-600 points throughout the day. If i am having a bad day then I usually get 20-30 points per round and 200 points a day.

i have seen guys get 150+ a round witch is great and i would like to know how .When the game first came out i got 220 once in a blackhawk but then refused to use it because it was not fair then

My average is around 30 to 40...depends on what i am trying to do at the time...some rounds less, some more...
