ok i have been playing BF2 since release, but recently had to wipe my hard drive. I reinstalled BF2, and the 1st time i tryed to join a server, it sayed i got kicked by punkbuster for "inadequite OS privalleges". I would imagine this means Operating sysytem privalges but someone fill me in anyway. Does anyone know what this means? Every time i try and join a ranked server it gets to verifying client data and then does nothing.

well, it takes a while at "verifying client data" depending on your system. it can take anywhere from 10 seconds to 4 minutes depending on your system and the map size.
as for the OS thing, that isnt up my alley, but if it is because of Operating System privaleges, make sure you are admin or using an admin account on the computer. -

yeah yeah, all thats done
and i have a pretty high spec pc. Got to wait for my alienware to arrive in 2 months then before i can play bf2 thanks for the help though
