Lan Games?????HELP???

can anyone help ?
we had four computers round one house the other day !!!
so we thought we'd have a 2 on 2 death match over the lan would've been great fun if it worked:cry:
but it said we could'nt becuase we had modified content ?
so does that just mean we cant do it unless we go back to unpatched versions (uninstall and install):wall: :wall:
can anyone give some constructive help please:blabla: :blabla:

everyone needs to be on the same patch and same ip.

did you disconnect the internet?

we played a lan once and we had to disconnect before some of us could play

just make sure everyone is using the exact copy as the server is using
share out the bf2 install folder if needed and everyone copy the files over
