Btr-90 > T-90?

Well the USMC had captured the first part of Karkand and it was a war between the two islands. Some APC whore drove through the water path and I waited to stick C4 onto his tank. He saw me stick it and jumped out of his APC and shot me with the DAO-12, but I got into his APC before he killed me and killed him.

Then I saw a T-90 driving through the water so I think, crap, I'm dead. So I wait for him, and I start nailing him in the tires with the cannon when I see him, and nail him with a rocket there too. Then, before he even got his second cannon shot out, he was dead. Happened 3 times. Can a BTR-90 kill a T-90? His tank was not smoking during either encounter.

missle to the front trax, and if you use a building efficently..

In normal cases, the tank will win, but I am not afrain to go attack a tank in an APC , shoot, hide, shoot this does the trick most of the time , also , there is a bug in the game wich the tank hits your APC , but the APC doesn't take any damage at all

2 missiles will kill a full health tank, one missile to the front track.

perhaps you got lucky and hit his front track. however, the cannon does very little damage to a tank, and unless you have cover and friendlies to distract the tank while you reload the missile youre pretty much dead.

of course, some tank whores suck almost unbelievably bad, and i can take them out from the front with 4 sraws even hiding behind a penetrable tin fence....

if I am in an APC and go head to head with a tank, I will generally rush the tank if I have nothing to hide behind to shoot and protect myself .. the blast will usually take the tank out when I go down.... gotta go down swinging man :)

Ive hit a tank everywhere with an apc missle trax you name it does not kill in one rocket two!

Also if you aim at the trax with the regular cannon it does one bar of life per hit, It is by far the best place to aim.

If you aim just above the tank so it doesnt go beep beep you can get one missle off easily then hide, Wait for missle to reload fire it unload in the tanks trax and you win everytime.

Be smart if hes hiding by a fooking box kill the box first so many times i see people ignore the GD box.

one in the track kills it, same with a TOW in the track. ive done both online.

I rush the tank, fire a couple cannons, launch missile, ram it, so he gets freeked out, launch more cannons, distract him, fire missile. I dunno if this is a glitch or not but I rammed a tank with my APC after a missile shot and it blew up instantly :P

i dont know what kind of moron would get "freeked out" from an apc rushing at him, more like "yay a free kill".

of course, tank whores in karkand generally are incredibly bad. every time I get a tank the whole enemy team gets it before i do. (by gets it, i mean dies)

Acutally i did this once, and kill the tank, i bum rush him and was shooting him while ramming him, he blew up before i did, mine was red i got out and apc blew up

I rush APCs with a tank. The damage from the collision plus 1 shot usually is enough. More than half the time, I will get under the APC where I can continue shooting him, but he can't shoot me since he is doing a wheelie. I have made one roll over too.

Also, there is no way a single missile takes out a tank no matter where you hit it unless you get one of the those mysterious 1 shot kills.

Yea I DEFINITELY nailed him in the track, but he didn't go down with one shot. But his cannon shot did do damage to me, but he died before he could take his second shot.

Lol he was prolly strolling towards me like "yay free kill" only to see the message on his screen "You were killed" and wonder "WTF? an APC killed a tank?"

TOWs kill a tank in one shot to the track, but teh APC missile is definitely not a TOW. TOWs kill APCs in one shot and the missiles don't do that.

I haven't analyzed this recently but several patches back it was established that if you hit the track with your missile and almost every shot from the gun an APC can kill a tank one-on-one before he can take his second shot.

I know for certain that I've lost to very few APC whores, only to the ones when I had low health.

Best way to do it if soley plan on destroying a onward coming tank (Provided you have no cover) is to shoot, rush and ram, even if he does take you out, your explosion will most probably take him out too.

I always aim for the tracks and hit the tracks aswell, if your not Enji, put some c4 on it too, can help if your losing a battle - run away and then blow.

TOW don't take down tanks in 1 hit, Full health tank anyway, Hit on the tracks will reduce it to 1/4 health. Can be done if you hit the 1 shot sweetspot.

he might have had low armor to begin with so usually the equasion goes tank>apc but an accurate drivergunner can turn the equasion to apc>tank. so it can be done i have killed a tank with a SNIPER RIFLE before so this would not suprise me
