finally got my explosive badge (and vet sniper)

yes! finally did it! ok, its the basic one, but still, its a b'otch to get!

happend on accident too, wasnt even trying. was playing on karkand and got it with a combination of C4 and Claymores.

was originally just playing as a sniper (which is pretty effective from the hotel area if you are MEC) and just laying claymores as back up protection. wasnt really keeping track of how many i was getting, eventually i hit 20 kills, and earned myself my vet sniper badge which i also wasnt trying to get.

after i got the sniper badge, i was pretty happy, so i figured i would just run around as spec op for a while. little did i know i was so close to my explosive, that only a few c4 kills got it for me. i was way happy.

i tried to push my luck the 2nd round, and get my vet knife badge, but that didnt work out very well. :p

I used claymores.
You just plop them down and forget about them.

I got my expert BOOM BOOM badge last weekend.... it took me like 20 tries... it's so satisfying though.

I got veteran with C4... Ok Karkand all we had was the suburb, just put C4 everywhere and when they drive up in full hummas/apc you blow there ass

I'm on my second character in BF2 (Created 2nd one when I joined TAW clan). On my 1st character, way back before 1.2 patch, I had a hell of a time getting the explosives ordinance badge. I didn't know how to chuck C4 (if I did, it would have been easier), and ever time I put down claymores, my own team mates would run into them giving me negative points and NOT getting me any kills. So, prior to 1.2, it was f'n hard. Took me 2 weeks of trying to get it. But on my new character, and post 1.2, I got it on my 1st try on Karkand as sniper. In fact, the 2nd time I tried it after getting my badge, I got 22 kills, 1 shy of vet.

Its fun blowing people up with claymores!!!
