Am I the only one who thinks getting points towards your kit for killing with a vehicle is a MAJOR skew on the stats? How many times have I gotten 15+ kills & capped 4 flags as a sniper, just to see that some jetwhore that happened to use a sniper kit got the high kit score for that round? I think Dice should have created another score, one for each vehice type, & no matter what kit you use to drive/pilot, your score goes gets tallied there. That way you could look at the leaderboard & actually compare yourself to people who used the kits, not just a bunch of vehicle mongers.

i think if youre in a vehicle, the kills and points you get should not be counted for the kits
with the exception how ever, team points, such as heals, repairs, and ammo points, when people stand near your vehicle, i think those should count toward the kit some how -

People don't agre with the OP because using vehicles is the ONLY way they can advance their kit "rating". Personnaly, I think it's garbage. It completely eliminates the significance of gaining badges for a kit when you don't even need to know a damn thing about it to score big. to me theres a double rubb, you not only get stats points for the kit but for the armor kill as well...i agree they should be seperate, in fact when i was a tank commander in the marines my weapon was a colt 45 so when you enter a tank apc plane or helo your kit shout get smurfed down to for example "armor crewman" where all you have is a pistol so when a guy jumps out of a tank he should only have a pistol till he dies, the price you pay for using the big gun advantage....Originally posted by Kevj2020Comment

I'm more inclined to think that a vehicle is just another weapon, so the kill goes to the kit AND the weapon, just like it does for the the rifle or granade, etc..Comment

Let me just clairify: I'm not whining about tank or jetwhores in general, if you want to fly & you're good at it then go for it. But I just think it's lame to get medals & badges for kits when all you did was get 40+ kills in a chopper. Before the Europe add-on I was in the top 7.5% of players in the sniper kit. But I believe I was actually better than that, because the top 2-3% of players in every kit are just gaining points with vehicles. I would think that the top pilots out there would like to compare themselves to other pilots.Comment

and like almost all vehicle whores, he is absolutely pathetic on foot
i can guaruntee you he does nothing the entire round but sit at the jet spawn point
but yet he has SIXTY THOUSAND kills with the medic kit
did he run around support his team as a medic? no
he should not have gotten those points with the kit
plain and simple, he didnt use the kit to get points, he shouldnt get credit for it
he should get it for the jet
want some good snipers to compare to? check these guys out
they actually have legit sniper kills, not with vehicles
now this guy has only 126 hours in vehicles, ONLY 126
with almost 1400 hours on foot, now thats something respectable

I don't see what the big deal is, if it was your own stats that was the problem and you wanted to see how many kills you had without vehicles then thats what the weapon section is for, same goes for the rankings aswell. The only one issue where i can see your point is at the end of the ground when it displays the best person for each kit.
So some guy scores 100+ points in a round to be named the best sniper for the round while you scored 40 points, The amount of times your name appears there isn't even recorded anywhere, so unless you are so desperate for the 2 seconds of fame of seeing your name there then whats the point.Comment
