Re: The good things you have done in BF2

      1. I watch my buddies back when they go for a difficult badge

      2. I leave the many easy infantry kills to retake the 1 halfway accross the map

      3. I will run half way cross the map to resupply/heal a teammate

      4. I will die 4 times to make 1 kill on armour to retake our main base

      5. If I get a tank first, & get it several times in a row, & the "noob" rides "shotgun" (mans the mg), I will volunteer the driver's seat every other time out

      6. I will go engineer to fix my commander's arty, knowing I will not last as long against other infantry kits afterwards

      7. Hold commander for 1 min., & then give it to a lower ranking clan m8

      8. The list goes on, & on lol

      peace:)

        here are some of mine

        - rounds starts, I am commander, some guy says he wants to be commander because he just needs some hours for some badge, I say, OK, and I resign.

        - some guy in my squad how the DAO realy is, I say, try it yourself, I fire a rocket on my feet killing myself so he can take my kit

        - seeing someone who dropped out of the chopper , far away from the coast line swimming in the sea, I take a BH and go to pick the guy up

I am talking here about things you do for other people without something in it for yourself, like reviving, healing, .... you get points and stuff, just things you do to favor someone else.

lets hear your good things guys

PS : I am certainly not saying I am an angel and always please people, far from that, mostly I am just playing the game
Rombaft... don't forget you helped me get my helichopper ribbons! lol, that was aces.

The best things I've ever done....

*Let a copilot fly the chopper every other time we respawn.
*Let someone else be commander because they needed the time.
*A random stranger was trying to get an expert badge.. so I drove around with him in a buggy as an engineer repairing his tank. Helping a clan mate out is not amazing.. it's expected, but a total stranger... I'm a saint
*But the best thing that I do for someone... that no body else does...

PICK UP PEOPLE IN VEHICLES WHEN THEY CALL OUT FOR IT...

        selfish bastards.

Id like to say it was getting a guy out of the sea but i went a little to low and he died.
Getting out of vehicles is my speciality but not because im nice, i just dont need an excited teenager telling me how much betterer he is at said vehicle.
Making someone laugh by typing something in chat is probably the nicest thing ive done, what is better than making someone else smile.

The nicest thing I ever did was play around 300 hours with a 128 radeon 9800 aiw graphics card, a 1mb connection and 1mb ram thereby allowing around 9000 people to kill me before I knew wtf was happening and enhance their stats accordingly, this has since changed.

And another nice thing I do is play squadleader properly, give orders and provide a spawn point by staying away from the firefight, oh and spawn on my sql when I join a squad, if I'm being uber nice I even check kits to see what the squad need.

I forgive for Teamkills 90% of the time. Of course, if you're truly shooting at me purposely, don't think I won't punish.

Re: The good things you have done in BF2

the absolute biggest thing i wish other people would do, if you see a medic fall in action, take his kit and revive him!!

if you see a spec ops guy throw c4 on a tank, only to get killed when trying to run away from it, TAKE HIS KIT!! you can still blow up that tank

as for me, if im ever second place for armor, i hop in the turret and repair as needed
ill pick up almost anyone asking for a ride
i was kicked once for flying the F-18 and not picking someone up when they requested a ride, wtf? but yea
i dont try to shoot thru my team mates to get a kill, if someone else is going for a guy, i let them go first, and finish up whats left
if im bombing, i dont bomb if friendlies are near, cause i have horrible aim at dropping bombs

all i can think of for now, laters

First off new here. Going to be loads of fun posting here.

To get back to the topic. I just do the general stuff:

                  Covering our team's snipers
Hang back and defend vital areas
Repair and protect the artillery, UAV and Scan (in that order)
Jump out when I feel that person is more qualified to drive. I do a lot of "hoofin' it" so I'll admit I'm not the most amazing driver in the world
Stay my ass out of anything that flies. I suck at BF2's flight engine so I'm the worst pilot. However on occasion I'll gun
Stick with what I'm best at and assist my team in anyway I can

A member of our clan always takes one for the team and blows himself up on claymores instead of us all getting wiped....it's funny to watch ^^

I spawned the same time as another guy on Wake at the airstrip and saw him running toward the plane. So I jumped in the jeep near me, drove up to him, beeped the horn and gave him a ride right to it. I know if EA had coded it in the game, he would have used the  expression.

Another time we were blowing up the enemy assets and enemy forces kept spawning right in front of me....I just stood there and let them run off since it was an uncappable base (not one of them ever looked behind them after spawning).

If I get in a plane, when a guy is waiting, I will hop out and give it to him, only if he isn't a smacktard and doesn't try to tk me, or if he move out of the way.

I always pick up people (most of the time).

I forgive, if the other guy says sorry, or if it was an accidental tk.

I always repair vehicles, ocassionaly dying.

I run to the other end of the map to revive or give ammo.

I pick up other kits to help revive/resupply/heal.

Anybody that crawls out in front of a tank, & picks up mines is a hero in my book
