L96 is the best sniper rifle. M95 is better now after the latest patch. You get a lot more one shot kills than you did before. It is just slightly below L96.

Yep, it does. You clear the chamber and reload a new one each shot.

I have all unlocks, and I still prefer the default rifles. Even the Type 88 has brought down many a foe for me. I haven't had enough time to work with the L96, but apparently, I'm not used to it yet.

To achieve a 1 shot kill with the M95 you have to either hit the head or get a back/chest shot. I believe distance is a factor as well for torso shots since most of my 1s1k's happen at close to med range.

If its not a head shot and the target is at full health...a chest/back shot will NOT kill him/her.
