M95 one shot kill.

I was special ops on our clan server last night, and we were pinned down on the west side of the train accident, I had picked up a sniper kit and it was the M95. I began to get one shot kills with it..and these were NOT head shot, and I was wondering how that could be happening, I figured it out shortly after.

The M95 leaves you with two bars left with a body shot...that means if you take the slightest fall or get nudged with a vehicle you're going to lose a few bars, and that will yield a sniper with a one shot M95 .

I don't know if this will make it a better option than the L9 but hey at least it's good to know.

The L96A1 brings you to two bars of health as well, though the M95 has .50 call bulelts which ignores bodyarmor. Means it works on Assault, Support and Anti-Tank as well. The L96A1 is more accurate though.

This is old. If you get shot by the M95 it takes nothign to kill you, the best way if the sniper is close, is one shot with M95, and pull out pistol and finish it with one shot if you can aim good.

Oh ya, the L96A1 is my fav for city maps. The accuracy is awesome.
And yes the slighest fall or bump and your one shot kill on your opponent.

Only problem with that is that they start running around like chickens with their heads cut off after they get hit with the M95. That's why if I do use it I pull the pistol out and start spamming.

I usually just take out the L96A1 and bust head shots with it though. Be patient and get the kill. You'll last longer if they don't know where your at.

lol...im just trying to find something that will save the M95 compared to the L9.

I have used the M95 occasionally, just based on its looks and sound(but those occasions im just messing around playing for fun and don't really care about the score.

L96 ONLY brings you down to 2 bars of health if you have no body armor.
If you shoot a support,assault or anti tank soldier, it only takes them just below half health.

Why not the semi-auto ones? I find these to be much more effective. Close range so accuracy is not that big of a deal. . . however, you have people constantly running around so being able to take a bunch of shots really quickly is much more beneficial than the slight increase in accuracy.

I am pretty good with the sniper rifle and when there is distance between me and the other player lining up the head shot makes sense and is the way I do it.

However, on a city map I can easily land 5 bullets on multiple targets before I would be done preparing for my next shot if I were using a bolt action. Usually, I will have taken at least two people down before, or at least one down and another assist, before I would be ready to even line up the next shot with a bolt action.

It doesn't make sense to use the bolt action guns when you are up close because the accuracy is unnecessary and you waste so much time preparing your next bullet.

True, I like the M95... it doesnt suck like you guys say it does. I have found out most of the EXPERIENCED snipers use it. It just takes some getting used to.

i like the m95 alot, love to use it, but when i'm playing maps where i expect longer-range sniping, i prefer the l9 for its crosshairs. but give me the m95 on any urban map, and i'm a happy camper.

I like both the l9 and the m95, it took me a while to get used to the m95 but its nice for levels like Warlord and Kark for me, whereas I'm still getting used to the l9.
