um i think that about covers it, my vehicle setups are about the same, i have yaw switched with roll so when i move my mouse left the jet moves left rather than rolling left. for anyone interested i am using a logitech mx500 mouse.
I cant believe nobody else doesnt bind it to weapon slot 5! This is each kit's specalty slot! For spec ops it will take out the C4, for medic and support the bags, for engineer the mines, and for sniper the claymore. There are plenty of times where i need C4 or health or even a claymore fast and it wasnt there, so i put it on my mouse

Oh don't get me into button set up because I am VERY arrogant about my setup and if you aren't using UHJK instead of WASD, frankly, you are not using a good setup.
with UHJK I have three buttons under my thumb, Right Windows (mappable), Right alt and space bar.
I personally use mouse 3 as reload. I never scroll through weapons, I am sorry, but doing so is absolutely retarded unless you have only a 3 button mouse. Then that is retarded. Get a better mouse.
There is no reason to scroll. There are plenty of keys on the keyboard where you can map each weapon slot to a button so you can immediate switch to a weapon.
My mouse is:
1: fire
2: scope/ironsights
3: reload
4: grenade slot
5: main weapon
6: comm rose
7: "spot" rose
8: Sqaud VOIP
I have UHJK as my movement keys
RightWIN = sprint
RightAlt = crouch
space = jump
y = (whichever slot is the shock paddles)
i = pistol
, = knife
l = (whichever is med pack)
; = parachute (parachute is NOT needed in the heat of battle, I don't understand why people think this needs to be SOOOOo accessible that it should take up a vital mouse button or close to hand button)
o = enter/exit
p = switch kits
v = prone (right under my pinky)
f/g = either switch camera angle (3rd person/1st person for driving) or change position (in heli or boat)
m = commander speak
x = mini map
c = map zoom
BTW, if I didn't mention this above, my setup kicks your setup's ass.
The best part about it is the UHJK because of the 3 buttons under my thumb. It just maeks so much sense.
I have it bound to my 'chute, but I think I'll change it to reload after reading this thread. As far as specialty weapons... my mouse has two side buttons, which are assigned to weapons 5 and 6 (since I play medic quite a bit). This seems to work pretty well. Before, there would be times when I'd go to toss out a medpac, but hit '4' instead of '5.' Man do people get ****ed when instead of a medpac, you feed 'em a frag grenade! Using a mouse button has helped me avoid that problem.
