Besides coming here and complaining about it...

Step 1: Read the ROE here

Step 2: Realize that this action is actually against the rules of the game as stated here: "§2.3 You may not deliberately hinder your own team or acting in such as way as to cause team mates unavoidable deaths or team losses"

Step 3: Take screen shots and report said lamer to the proper authorities. (Some one help me with a link on this. I don't have enough time in my day to report people for abusing a video game.)

Step 4: Come here and have a hearty laugh as you and everyone else in the forums watch the lamers stats get reset. (instead of complaining while doing nothing productive and looking like a patheticly hopeless, self-made "victim")

i have one simple solution, turn FF off.

lets be careful while considering solutions....smacktards love to find ways to abuse every game-mechanic.......if you made it count as suicide, ppl would do it intentionally, to kill the teamate, and make them lose 2 points...

They aren't going to reset someone's stats for standing in front of your plane. A lot of new player think the single-seaters are 2-seaters and don't mean to get killed.

I guess if someone just went around doing this all the time and a bunch of people reported them, then EA might do something, but I still find it unlikely.

So all I have to do is take a screenshot of someone in front of my tank and I can get there stats reset. Sweet. Well thought out solution.

If you read the post and the ROE that I quoted you might be able to put the pieces together and see that I am not talking about the occasional noob that gets run over by a jet because they were running to get into it. I'm talking about the ones that will camp a vehicle and force TKs if anyone else gets in them to the point where people get kicked from games becuase they were forced to TK too many times.

Just because you find it unlikely doesn't mean its not going to happen. I really don't care if they get reset or not. I'm just sick of people coming here and complaining about it while doing nothing to fix it themselves.

Yeah because when you report this stuff to EA they have no other way of verifying your story like a battle recorder, stats, or similar reports from other players, right? Well thought out reply.

no, i dont get the idea, wtf does that even mean? anyhow, yes we should report it, but at the same time, yes dice should fix the problem eventually.

In short it means actions speak louder than words (and they smell worse too). Yes, EA should do alot of things, but if we are not doing what we should be to stop this, what gives us the position to complain?

I wouldn't even waste my time reporting it guys, just post here, and hopefully DICE will come out with a solution. From what i have heard there has been some stuff resolve thru that site but not enought to make it and official site to post rule braking in BF2.

Whoever mentioned that maybe they should make it so, all vehicles push team mates instead of killing them, that's a great idea.

Only problem that could possibly arise with that, what if they guy that is in the jet snagged it on someone who was waiting for it first, then that guy stands in front of the jet to show he is upset, then the guy in the jet says 'FU' and hits sshot and reports him to EA just because he wants to be a ****, like most griefers are to begin with.

EA/Dice really isn't going to know the whole story behind the sshot. You could get yourself in any vehicle and start driving up to people and sshotting them as much as you like and say they were all harassing you.

Not to mention, only about 10% of the population even knows these rules exist because it isn't mentioned anywhere in their games manual and they can't be buggered to try and find them anywhere else on their own because they just want to play the damn game however it is they see fit. Hell, I was playing this game since the first day of the demo and didn't even realize they existed until about 2 months ago when someone made a thread about it in here.
