Are you referring to the condensation cloud? If so, then I'd say read up on the "Prandtl-Glauert singularity." Here's a good starting point if it's of interest to you:

dude he broke the sound barrier at 2000 mph. Look it up on google it tells why the cloud appears...

                Uhhh...no.

He did break the sound barrier, achieving Mach 1. Mach 1 depends on many factors like temperature, density altitude, etc.. He is going Mach 1 but its not 2000mph - my guess would be around 700 knots when he is going there.

The cloud is formed from shock waves coming from the aircraft become visible and condense from the rapid compression. They form in the middle because only the aft part of the aircraft is actually supersonic - not the front.

                  Re: How was this done?

Any person who doesn't quite know what they're talking about commonly associates the huge mass of condensation as a sign that an aircraft is breaking the sound barrier.

However, the cloud is nothing more than an example of Prandtl-Glauert singularity. It has nothing to do with supersonic flow or shockwaves. Near the speed of sound, Prandtl-Glauert singularity amplifies all pressure perturbations around the aircraft, and the low pressure above the aircraft corresponds to the that of below. The lowered pressure results in a drop of temperature causing condensation of surrounding water vapor.

This is way it is most common at low altitude level flight under humid conditions.

Also, you can hear the announcer and crowd bring up the fact that the aircraft indeed is not breaking the sound barrier.

Ya its works like this. wings are curved so when the air his the wing its seperated and the air on top of the wing moves faster then the air which is below. this is what causes lift. now when your going around the speed of sound the air thats above the wing is going to be made to go fast(er) as the speed of sound and the bottom being slower. So when they come back together they have a condensation/fog effect.

as for speed of sound. its around 1000km/h 650mil/h 650 knots in room temp anyway. way up high its alot colder but it doesnt affect it that much.

its not shock waves. Its the low pressure above the wing lifts the plane and the higher pressure(relative to above the wing) below the wing. And when those 2 pressures mix they cause the condensation. but as well there really isnt condesation to occur it doesnt last long.

Sound Barrier is 700 MPH, not 2000 MPH

and by the way NO combat aircraft can go 2000 MPH

Wrong. The Mig-25 Foxbat and Mig-31 Foxhound can, but only briefly.

Lift is a gift, thrust is a must!

The speed at which those jets have to travel (and I know this because I've done it)
is a MILLION miles an hour.... a MILLION!
