New frustration- Team vehicle damage.

Last night I was on a server and just started and spawned near a tank.

I thought, “Cool, I’ll take it.”

Then I get hit from some buggy. TEAM VEHICLE DAMAGE Over and over, the same guy, was doing it. Then he dies. I get a TEAMKILL Message. He gets another buggy and starts to ram the tank again. More TEAM VEHICLE DAMAGE. He tosses himself under the tank.

Before you know it, I have something like –17 points, and I’ve just driven the tank from one flag to the next.

This isn’t the first time this has happened. The guy wants the tank. He’s going to make your game play so bad that you’ll either quit the server or stop getting into tanks.

There were no admins on at the time.

I’m starting to look to private locked servers with a clan to have fun. Pubs are getting OC.

Yeah, happened to me too, really I used to get annoyed with these idiots, standing infront of your jet etc I just can't be bothered with it now so really I rarely TK, but they have gone up alot because of this crap, and people stand infront of the jet, people run infront of your tank etc, you get to the stage where its a common occurence and you don't care if you tk them.

team vehicle dmg and the collision issues between players and vehicles is still something that really needs adjusting.

examples: last night on Karkand, apc following my tank, I stop as I came across all 3 pieces of US armor, he hits my backside, and I get team vehicle damage - twice... thanks for the -4

And on Mashtur, a load of us drive the vodnik off of round-start from hotel to the power plant - the BH always goes there. As our guy pulls up to the fence, he gets 2 tk's from 2 of the guys in the back of the vehicle... luckiily I was on the .50cal :)

The non-stop asshatting IS kinda annoying though, I have to admit. in your case... since I know I would have been in for a point hit and probably a teamkill anyway... I would have turned around and shot him in the face with the tank.

... oh yeah. Where IS your server by the way... Im always looking for teamwork and good times!

I hate this too. The system needs some real adjustment.

As far as team killing goes, the next patch should stop TKs taking place on the runway more than anywhere.

If a jet is taking off, anybody standing in the way on the runway is either being stupid, or is either too dumb to look both ways before crossing which rarely happens anyway. So in most cases, you TK somebody when taking off in a jet because they're angry they didn't get that jet.

There's no way to abuse this system since once in flight, theres no way you can run over your own team. Bombing still counts as TKs, obviously.

Has anyone had the guy in buggy hauling ass towards you, and the at the last second get's out and kill you and he does not get a tk because he bail??????

Also sometimes the mines will kill people on your own teams for some reason.

Obviously he was trying to **** you off because you had his tank.
If he persists, get out, do it to him. Same with people going under the jet or sniping me out, before I can, I get out, let them punish me and done, I press page down to make them feel better.

I do the same thing :p

Just hop out, sit in front of it, then punish everytime. He'll get kicked eventually

there are a number of ranked servers that would have kicked and probable banned that idiot ours among them, put =IMO= in your server browser search if you'd like to try ours...or go to www.wflforums.net the servers there are all realism servers that do a good job admining...but all that said the real solution is for EA to make a correction to vehicle raming and diving infront of vehicles hurt the guy doing it not the victum...

I have damaged a Vodnik to the point of catching fire, only to have one of my teammates jump in and get killed by the explosion. TK for me, because the idiot didn't notice the original crew jumping out and getting mowed down.

yes that is what i do to anyone who rams my tank from the back "again and again and again just to punish me" that or just jump out the tank at the last sec before impact so i dont get the tk lol

Yeah I hate that..

But just to be clear-
I'm not talking about when you are in a convoy (ie EF tank battalion) and yiou stop to shot and some guy behind you rear ends you and you get team damage. That's ok.. It's war, and war is H377.

Yes, this guy wanted his tank back.

All he had to do was say, "Leeus, I'm going for my basic Tanker-Can I have the tank?"

Sure- I was green once without badges. I would have given it to him.
