I have 18 Kill Streaks. And in several combat ocassions, I managed over 18 kills in 1 round, now why am I not being awarded the ribbon? Does kill mean bullet kill, and not point?

Re: Question about Combat Action ribbon
Okay, so I just returned from an almost 3 hours game. In order to get more kills I chose Anti-Tank with the DAO-12. As luck could have it, I was sent into Ghost Town and killed more than enough tanks this round and for 1 round, I managed to get over 20+ points, all kills not capture points, made my record since I played BF2.
But you know what? I was not awarded with the Combat Action Ribbon, I was awarded with the Anti-Tank (Basic + Specialist). So now what's the deal here?

Re: Question about Combat Action ribbon
You need 2 things:
1) 10 global kill streak (prior to #2)
2) 18 kills in a round.
The kills can be with any class. You just need to kill 18 people in one round, and have a kill streak of at least 10 before the round starts. That means you'll have to have at least 36 combat points (not team points)Comment

Re: Question about Combat Action ribbon
If you only got 20 points, that means you only made 10 kills. Each kill is 2 points.
For the ribbon you need 18 kills = at least 36 points from kills alone.
I disagree. I think bf2s.com has the best looking stats page. Easy to read too.Originally posted by ace4uThis is the best site to check out your progress on your ribbions and awards.

Re: Question about Combat Action ribbon
No thanks, this is the only one I use for what badges and awards I need and the requirments. I can not believe the time required for the veteran ground defense. I usually do not hang around in it to long, since it is a great place for snipers to get you.Originally posted by zhpkillerIf you only got 20 points, that means you only made 10 kills. Re: Question about Combat Action ribbon
I used to check at http://www.bf2player.com by the way. I have had 10 Streak points already. So I went for the kills. And I got more than 22+. What do you mean by 2 points for 1 kill? If I am correct, 1 point for 1 kill is it not true?
Hey I just checked at your suggested website, Combat Action ribbon is 100%, why am I not awarded??Comment

Re: Question about Combat Action ribbon
this guy doesn't understand the difference.
1 kill =/= 1 point.
If you get a kill, you get 2 points. so when you are looking at 20+ POINTS, in actuality, that is only "10+" kills.
The kills, when you hit tab, is the crosshair... you need 18 KILLS, in a round.
PRIOR (before you enter the round) to that, you need at LEAST a 10 kill streak. As in, any round before you entered that server, you got 10 kills without dying in between.
Hopefully you understand now.Comment
