Killed anyone with a barrel?

Have you ever killed anyone with a red barrel. The ones that explode? Snipers can pop these with one shot. Do they do damage?

Would you get the kill? How would it measure the kill explosives or the weapon you blew the barrel with?

I do it all the time. It credits you with whatever you blew the barrel up with. Example: WDA_Endless954[M1A1]JoeSchmo.

oh yea i set up kills on those all the time... ive ran into a group of enemies, i bet they thought i was retarded shooting(but not at them). then BOOM! 3 kills... red barrel = pwnt...

and im sure whatever u shoot it with the kills register with that...although im not sure at all... since the barrel is explosive...

ok i just checked my explosive stats and there are no excess so the kills must get registered to the weapon u blew the barrel up wiht

On Sharqi Peninsula, the barrels by the flag at the construction site is guaranteed a kill if some tries to cap it.

ive done it several times at the train crash on karkand. Shoot those barrles as the enemy tries to cap the flag and BOOM!

Although i haven't done that generally with a long range sniper shot its more usually medium range.

the barrels are great their usually sat near some key positions so for snipers or other kits its a nice sneeky, Sharqi @ the construction site you can get 2+ kills depending on how many people are huddled around the flag and just pick off the others

Usually use the barrels on Kubra Dam, very useful when people are heading for the flags.

I just did it yesterday.

Some noob was running at me on wake with a rifle. SO i circle strafed the barrel, shot it with L96, and then pistoled it. Funny as hell.

Or they shouldn't because most people only care that they got the kill, and not a reason how they did it.

I got 6 kills with one shot at the train accident on Karkand, one M95 to the barrel and killed a whole squad.
