crouch issues

    crouch issues

    This is so frustrating.

    No matter what button I select for crouching, only left ctrl works, even if left ctrl is NOT selected in the menu.



    Anyone have any solutions for my agony?

      After you make the change in control are you clicking APPLY at the bottom? cos if your not then that would explain the issue

                  I had that happen to. Go back into your controls and hit Reset to Default again then change them back.

                  Mine did the same thing after I reinstalled everything.

                      BTW, I always hit apply after making changes. :p

                          That would help. I think that what is even worse than that is the delay when going from prone to standing. Sometimes it seems that it does not even recognize it.

                              If you can't get anything else to work, you can go into the config file manually and change it.

                                      i have the exact same problem.. i have done reset.. i always click apply.. i even REINSTALLED THE DAM GAME. and it still wont work.. i had the same problem on my old computer too.. right now my crouch button is set to right CTRL and only the default left CTRL works

                                          As stated above, you can manually edit it in the controls.con in your profile folder.

                                          Add this line under the infantry settings. This will bind Lshift to crouch.

                                          ControlMap.addKeyToTriggerMapping c_PICrouch IDFKeyboard IDKey_LeftShift 0 0

                                              From prone use crouch to get up instead of Z again or the space bar, it eliminates the delay.
