  • IAR Requirements

I'm confused with the whole IAR policy for awards and badges, etc.

Take for example, aviator stats; I've had (several) rounds where I have finished with a K/D ratio of 30+/2 on a ranked server (EA US Official) and still don't have the veteran badge even tho the requirements say "IAR: 12 kills in a plane"

Now, I'm not one to focus on points, medals, rank, etc in BF2, but what gives with this?

My stats look accurate on all of the various tracker sites out there, so I don't understand.

I think another IAR requirement is that you need to be 15min in a jet or something

Right, but in order to get 30 kills IAR, I'm obviously flying for alot longer than 15 mins.

        Re: IAR Requirements

You need to complete Global reqs. before IAR reqs.
        Example:
        15 hours as Anti-Tank>20 kills as Ani-Tank

So how does that translate into my problem? I'm still unclear..

          Aviator
          Kills: 1,529, Deaths: 222, KD Ratio: 6.89, Time: 38:32:43

Despite those being my current stats, I've only achieved the Basic Aviator Badge, and as I said previously, I've gone more than a few rounds before ending with a 30:2 K/D; the requirements for Veteran Aviator Badge appear to be:

IAR: 12 kills in a plane OR 100h total time in a plane

Of course I'm nowhere near 100h flight time, but I'm way past 12 kills IAR w/ a jet.

            Re: IAR Requirements

EDIT: It is not 12 kills IAR OR 100 hours in a plane

It is 12 kills IAR AND 100 hours in a plane global
            Check stats here: http://www.bf2player.com/index.php?p...34946&show=all

You have only spent 38Hours in a Plane, you need to have spent 100Hours in a Plane before you can get your veteran Badge, and once you have got 100hours in a Plane, then you complete the IAR requirement, and you will get your Veteran badge.

Ah, that would explain it then.

Ok, my fault. Thanks for clearing that up.

                  Re: IAR Requirements

For the veteran aviator badge you need 100 global hours in a plane, and then after achieving 100 hours you need to play a round where you get 12 kills with a plane and then you will receive the award.
