is dolphin diving back in 1.22?

I haven't played the new patch until a week after it came out and I haven't been following the forums, but I played a couple games over the weekend and I noticed lots of people dolphin-diving and shooting AT rockets with uncanny accuracy while hopping around... so, is dolphin diving back in this new patch?

ive seen it throughout the patches.

dolphin diving never lent much tactical advantage, it was purely no skill losers who tried it.

those no skill losers were willing to waste hours learning to do it now.

              No, you can't dolphin dive.

Its funny because alot of people don't know the difference between dolhpin diving and bunny hopping, and there is one.

Bunnyhopping is generally hitting the ground, jumping, going prone and hitting the ground and repeat.

Dolphin diving was kinda like this, but it involved the player being prone at all times while in the air, and on the ground, and NO you CANT do this anymore....at least not without stopping and then starting again....

Bunny hopping is jumping over and over again... dolphin diving is the act of going in and out of prone while jumping. Of course all of these fake internet gaming terms are open to interpretation, but my definitions make sense. Bunny hopping has nothing to do with going prone.

No dolphin diving is not back. It might help to know what dolphin diving actually IS before claiming that it's still a feature of the game...

You don't go prone when you bunnyhop. You...jump...when you bunnyhop. Mmkay?

You can still dolphin dive it just requires a few more key presses, i'm not going into any detail. However it's not as usefull as it was since you can't shoot while jumping anymore, the only time it's really used is AT's when reloading.

I am definitely sure that you cannot shoot while you are jumping. In reality, I wonder how in the heat of a combat will a soldier dare to take the risk of jump up and down?

HOWEVER, there is one trivial thing I notice after patch 1.22, some people can still go prone and fire immediately at me. According to the agenda of 1.22, going prone and fire is delayed which basically means going prone costs you the extra time to re-aim at your target but I find it not quite the case.

I bunny hop sometimes, that is because I need to dodge bullet shower from more than 1 enemy firing at me. From all of my BF experience, a slight movement to any direction will make it very difficult for me to achieve a kill. But when the scenario is reversed, I happen to be the major victim almost 9 out of 10 cases. Are BF2/SF players really so accurate one of these days, I am talking about only 1 shot and it is at least some distance away, like the enemy is entirely "enclosed" within my G3 recticle! (so you can get an idea as to how far it is). I mean, can he really aim at my head and kill me with that 1 shot or that bullet is a guided bullet with GPS accuracy??!! I am not mocking at anyone I just do not speechlessly believe that person is so good. I am sure he is not a sniper by the way.

The only weapon I use to kill enemy with 1 shot is like I lock him on and walk into his back, aim with my recticle with his head within it and pull the trigger. This is when I am using the G3, it is damn powerful when you come in close quater. Another weapon is the DAO-12 but this weapon requires you to be in very close range like you saw him and he sees you. I guess most of the time, the poor fellow was out of ammo and changing magazine.

I don't know if dolphin diving is back, I just see people can go prone and fire right away without delay that's disappointing to me. I am fed up with that actually.

This game is not meant to be a war simulator BF2Freak. It is not meant to be a flight simulator or anythign else. It does not matter what "real life" is compared to the game. Here is the biggest example:
Blow yourself up with 5 packs C4, then have a medic run up to you and hit you with shock paddles, and you are magically alive...I dont think so. There would not be enough left of you for that.
And no DD is not back...Trust us, you can sleep soundly with this knowledge.
