We were hacked. Several times over the past two weeks, in fact.
While all passwords are encrypted and salted, it's recommended that you change your password here when you can.
Only the default (TGN Light) theme for now. Dark them is also coming back soon. Then CSN. Then Wrestlin' Nation. A lot of WIP stuff right now. There are a couple of things still not working either. Sorry.
Stats ruined the game, IMO. I think the whole stats system should have been exclusive for squad activities. Lone wolfers in jets getting 180 per round have great stats, I'm sure. But I don't know how helpful they were for the team.
stats aren't the first reason you should play the game, first reason should be having fun, but I like the stats, you get rewards and stuff, you can share what you have done already in the game, there are ranks, wich is nice to see ingame who is a long timer or who is new, stats is a very nice feature , just don't take it to serious
When I started the poll I assumed that everybody plays for fun, but that some people also like having stats along with the fun, and some only care about the fun part. That's why there are only 2 options. I don't thing there is such a thing as playing for stats only without having fun.

Ever seen some stat padders? That look like fun to you? :)
Repairing vodniks half immersed in water, endlessly resupplying in a circling chopper, knifing and reviving till the cows come home. That's playing for numbers only, and it's NOT about fun at all.
I play for fun. Bottom line. I really don't care about anything else.
HOWEVER, it's also kinda fun to have something to work towards. Stats/awards/ranks can be personal goals that do add something to the game.
My personal take on it is that stats are an entertaining element that takes a backseat to havin fun rounds, working with your team, and being a sneaky bastage.

So you can still vote than, since the options are 1)fun+stats, and 2)fun only.
Yeah... but it doesn't send a clear message.
Seems to me that there should be 3 options to this poll.
The two sides and the middle.
1) Stats rule! I need my stats or I'd quit playing
2) I hate stats and wish they'd never been implemented since it disrupts teamwork and fun.
3) Stats can be fun, but it's not my top priority.

this is where you are completely wrong, in bf1942, there where no stats, and I can tell you , nowbody would ever repair your tank, almost nowbody would heal you, you got TK's for just looking at a plane or tank , also due to the fact you could change your nick as many times you wanted, sometimes a whole bunch or retards came in the game and started TK's the whole dam round .
Now with stats, people do repair other people, because they want repair points, people do heal, people TK less, because they want to keep the points, and don't want there stats filled with TK's .
anotehr point, I don't know if you have noticed this already, but to gain points, so to fill up your stats, you need to do things who are good for your team, such as killing, healing, repairing, supporting, caping flags, ....
and sorry, but I haven't seen to many statpadders in a game, and if there are some(kill, revive stuff) they don't even bother the rest of the team.

You should read between the lines Wargimp. Anyway, I did clearify the option 1) in my reply to Rombaft. But I maybe wrong though. I guess there are some players that like to play for stats only and don't like having fun, as Shafik was suggesting.

Very good point.
As far as the stats, I would be OK with even BF2HQ only, so I can check my personal progress mainly, without all this websites that offer players comparisson. But still I prefer the stats to be there versus not having them at all.
