After playing for quite a while and reading another 'guide', I decided to make this custom list of tips. Hope it helps.
#1 - Always fly the jets and choppers on the Gulf of Oman. Always.
I just can't stress this enough. There should be a minimum of 15 people waiting on the carrier at ALL TIMES for their chance to grab one of these babies. Once you manage to get one, fly at full afterburner and drop your payload on those idiot team members who are attempting to 'cap' a flag.
Walking is for wimps - and they know it.
#2 - Every sentence should somehow incorporate the word 'Noob'.
Variations such as 'newb', 'newbie', and 'noobie' are also acceptable. E.g - "You're such a noob!!! Everyone knows jets are the way to victory!!"
#3 - Run in front of moving vehicles.
This rule only applies if there are no jets on the map (which means you shouldn't even be playing on that server anyways.) This rule is especially important when a fellow team member is driving the vehicle. I mean, who died and put them in charge of the road? This is traditionally followed up with a punish.
#4 - Use the 'Say All' command.
BF2 players should ALWAYS be yelling insults at each other. Don't be scared to let go of the mouse completely and engage in flame wars with the opposing team. A popular tactic is to comment on their terrible playing ability - just to get the ball rolling. Speaking on ones mother is also a popular trend. This is also an excellent real world example of implementing rule #2.

Your vehicle should only contain one person - you. Despite the load capacity in the APC's and Transport helicopters, your best bet is to ignore the requests of fellow team members and ride solo. If you happen to hear someone request a ride, locate the member on your minimap and proceed to run him or her over. This forces them to stop being so bloody dependant on valuable members of the team.
