Transparant walls

Hey all,

I have a weird thing happeneing - only sometimes - during BF2 play. It will be working great for a while, but then the graphics in some areas, like certain walls, or fences, will go transparent. In other areas, like in the space between fences, I will get these abstract lines. It has only happened a couple of times, and when I restarted it went away.

Having some walls be transparent is sometimes a competitve edge, but In dont need to win badly enough to make the game unfair :)

Any idea what is going on? P4 / 1GB RAM / GEFORCE 6600

Mine did it to with my PNY 6600. What BF2 settings do you use and is your card temp ok? I run mine with medium settings (geometry H), 2x, and some tweaking. If I try Highs it will start having problems like you described.

I will try your suggestions, but it is weird that it happens only sometimes.
