The hit detection needs fixing. Seriously.

Played several rounds flying today and I had a hard time getting any kills what so ever. I think I got about 5 kills in 2 rounds each with maybe 2 deaths while flying.

Whenever I would drop a bomb on a target I would only see the big cloud of dust ontop of the target (tank, apc or whatever) and no damage done to the target.

I also do some bombing runs on flags beeing capped and got no kills what so ever. The entire flag-cap area got filled with a cloud of dust from the bomb drop, yet I got no kills. I know that the fighter bombs have a quite big splash radious that should have killed anyone near a flag (at least I've learned something from being baseraped).

On one occation I had help of the UAV over a flag and saw lots of enemies (Mec's only capped flag on 64-player Gulf of Oman) and also visually saw them in the opening of the base (maybe 6-8 players or so). So I dropped my bombs on them and to my supprise I got 0 kills. No kill assists either.

The next round which was on FuShe pass I managed to get 22 kills with 2 deaths and then the server crashed. Just my luck, when the hit detection actually works the server crashes and none of the points registers.

Also noticed that even the bombers are affected by this. I dropped all my bombs on a single tank (near vertical drop after evading an enemy fighter) and it survived.

Also the A2A missiles on the F-35B is way to weak, I was locked on onto the MEC attack-heli (me flying somewhat slow at some distance) and the missiles missed as the pilot just turned the chopper slightly. The missiles then did a 180 and hit the friendly Cobra on the other side of the map giving me 2 tks and 1 punish.

One positive thing out of this though, I managed to evade a couple of missiles in the F-35B and broke the lock several times. Not nearly as good as any other plane in the game but it sorta works.

Even more proof that the hit detections sucks is when I was in an armor I suddenly jumped high up into the air like 60 feet or so (way above the palmtrees on Karkand near the hotel. I guess this was due to either C4 or an AT-mine. I recived no damage during this jump which was quite odd (no damage even when hitting the ground).

Maybe I should stop flying for the time being until they can fix the hit detection. It's not very fun to fly if you get no points doing so (shooting down enemy aircraft isn't very effective either).

My ping on the servers I play on is usually between 10-25 mostly under 20.

As a last thing I mention, the accuracy of any weapon in a vehicle which is not the drivers becomes extremely poor when someone is in the drivers seat. I've been the driver in a stationary transport (stopping to let the gunner kill anyone in the area) and seeing them having a hard time killing anyone.

Do anyone else have these kinds of problems?

100% right on. Hit detection is the biggest, most pervasive and under-complained-about issue and DICE really ought to put some time into fixing it.

I knifed a guy 4 times, in the head, and he died on the fourth. He wasn't even moving. I get hit indicators on every other bullet that hits. I watch TOWs fly through tanks. That's to say nothing of AT.

I never noticed this until playing yesterday. I was in a damaged tank and about to be blown up by an apc. I jumped out, and ran towards the apc. I layed down behind it, not sure if he saw me. I saw to guys on foot running away, so I open fire. The apc starts backing up to run me over, but instead pushes me along the ground. I took out two guys before finally dying, and that was be somebody shooting me.

I find that taking out enemy helicopters, especially the transport helicopter seems impossible at times, I stopped to a very slow speed and locked onto the transport heli, waiting for the flares to go off, fired 4 missiles they all missed, two of them turned straight into the ground, another 2 went right through the helicopter, seems much easier to take them down with the cannon, but they have a higher HP I think than the attack helis.

Ok, yes, hit detection is pretty screwed up for knives and rockets, but NOTHING is wrong with bombs. Ever maybe think.... that you aren't good at bombing? lol

Why don't you concentrate less on bombing, and use your cannon more. You will get more kills, and you can make like 15 runs before you have to reload.

With tanks, you have to hit them EXACTLY... there is no "oh look.. theres smoke covering all around the tank... why isnt it dead...?" they have to hit exactly.

So learn to bomb accurately for tanks, and as for ground troops, you need to learn the common spots where people stand, and where they spawn. Just give those spots bombs and cannon runs.

I hate sniping stationary targets from 100m and seeing dust clouds pop up on their faces. Then they turn around and spray and pray with a PKM and waste me. I've also had the knife thing happen to me. I was on Mashtuur and hiding in the hotel building with my knife out. (I was out of claymores, and an M16 beats a pistol any day in CQC) So I waited for this medic to come up the stairs, ran behind him and stabbed him in the back. Dust clouds. He turned around, shooting. Two stabs later, we both die.
I think hit detection is also an issue when I'm running from a PKM, get around the corner, and die. It seems like the bullets are still hitting me through the freaking wall.

you're another one... use your damn cannon and it will be dead in under 4 seconds. The BEST scenario would be if you are headed straight at the cockpit. Just aim for the cockpit, and I promise you, it will blow up faster than the missles blow it up.

Yes, the hit detection really needs improvement. Since when does it take an entire clip of a G36C, L851, or other weapons to knock someone down. The radius of the claymores need improvements as well.

                    Okay...

I know my bombs hit the target because I follow the bomb itself and see that it lands ontop of a target, but instead of blowing up it just creates a cloud of smoke.

Before patch 1.22 I could easily get 25+ kills in a plane (the rounds don't last very long usually only 15 minutes or so, and it doesn't help that the enemies are a mile apart from eachover).

It's like one round no weapon at all works, but the next it hits every single time. I have also noted that it is more likely to kill friendlies than enemies.

It's annoying with the TV missile how sometimes you can be within a quarter of an inch of the enemy chopper and miss, and other times be a couple feet away and blow them up. Confusing.

Use cannons! missle are still worthless against helis, unless its a noob polet, but dont take the chance

You can use missiles against the chopper if it's on the ground. The flares don't work at all

Unless the missiles think a better target is a friendly chopper taking at the other side of the map.

I hear that. Or they think your wingman beside you is a better target and do an instant about face, killing you both.
