If you are new to BF2 and want to play for stats, there are some things you will need to consider first. Make sure you have the following.
1.You can only gain stats on ranked multiplayer servers, on filter, check the box with "Ranked Only"
2.You will need to update to the latest patch as ranked servers requires it.
3.Don't worry if you are not seeing your stats immeditly as it requires time for EA servers to send your new-gained stat information.
Now that you know a little about how to gain stats, you may also wonder where you can see much you've progressed. As most of you already know, you can see your stats on the BFHQ section in the BF2 menu. There are also a few sites out there which you can check for your stats so that you won't need to log onto BF2.
www.bf2s.com is a good site, although it takes quite some time for it to update.
http://ubar.bf2s.com/ is a site where you can check to see what requirements you need for medals and ribbons. It also give you a good info on the unlocks.
So please, stop creating threads about stats and read this...
