Nobody thinks BF2 is lame after a year of playing??

The name says it, I'm bored stiff with the maps, and luckely, NAW just come out (great mod, I swear, no plane whores at all!)

I'm now fully playing mods and other things that are different than the vanilla BF2. (Working on NAW myself now:) )


I mean, why they don't release another expansion like BF2 ~Sea Combat~ or
BF2 ~Korean Conflict~ (just ideas:hmm: )

seriously, if youre bored, stop playing. and stop posting here, its just annoying.

i suggest playing something OTHER than karkand 24.7

try mashtuur city, no air whores there. and great wall.

battlefield never gets boring if you play it right.

and i have a good joystick, but it actually takes skill to bomb people. well, maybe not on wake island, but on operation smokescreen it does, with all the smoke and missile locks on the ground and stuff to crash into.

Sounds to me like you are just another plane whore whiner, not a bored BF2 player. If you are really bored of BF2 then you are not playing it properly. However my guess is that you're just another infantry only zealot that plays karkand 24/7. It's no wonder you are bored.

when i start to get bored of BF2,i do something different for a while, like try and learn to fly, or sharpen my sniper skills, or try and play a TACTICAL match, where i fly high and HALO drop, and sneak around and knife 1 person instead of killing 3 with my PKM. if you shift around your playing style once in a while and try new things, trust me, BF2 will NEVER get boring :)

Me? I'm certainly not bored. I'm not a kid with ADHD...to me, each game is new and interesting enough to keep me coming back. I grew up with single player games and 'no such thing as the internet'.

anybody who leaves BF2 because its "boring" is somebody im GLAD to see go, as it means the community has less loser whiners.

i think 2142 will do a great job of getting all the whiners, noobs and hackers over to it, leaving BF2 with DC vets.

i totally agree with the learn to fly statement, as i was tired of claymore whoring karkand, so i learned to fly well in operation smokescreen. fun as hell and basically like a new game.

I'm a Karkand junkie and always will be. Been playing Karkand and Maashtuur almost exclusively since the game release and I'm still not bored. The only way to truly get bored of this game is not having any imagination.

Oh... and I shun of anyone who thinks they know how the game was "meant" to be played.

I'm bored with it as well. I dunno why, I mean It's a good game but considering there is only one game mode, it is just the same thing over and over. I'm just waiting on FH2 and a few other mods to get me back into BF2.

if you play othe mods such as naw, are you able to use any of your unlocks in game? or is the whole weapon system completely different that the one EA used?. you keep your rank also? etc etc.

I was kinda of getting bored of it ... but getting a bunch of expert badges in the last week has reviven my love for the game... working on a few more service ribbons and time for expert badges... loving it still after all these years.

for my self I enjoy playing BF2 day by day....u can never get bored at all....unless u reached higher ranks...

I still have a long way ahead of me to get what I want :)

I dont think there is much more left to see happen on the current maps. I dont think ive seen anyone do anything 'new' for months which sadly makes it a bit like playing de_dust on a huge scale. Karkand is the easiest example, how exactly can the US ever do something unpredictable... other than running back and camping there uncap as ive never seen that.
Considering you have to play the game for months 24/7 to get to the top rank it is a little unfair that there arent more maps to make it a little less tedious. It does get to the stage that when a map loads you know in advance which side will win which also helps you play "guess whos after the war college ribbon"- which is a really boring game.

I am not bored at all with the game, and have been playing since the release of the demo.

Every time i log on, im still excited to play.

Alot of people i have seen do whine about it being boring, or say its old, but i DONT care what they say, THIS GAME ROCKS!
