I have a legal copy of F.E.A.R. and FarCry but I don't want to keep switching discs out of my machine, so bassically I want to keep my BF2 SF disc in my computer all the time, because my BF2 vanilla disc got destroyed by the crappy case splitting it up into the disc itself, so what I want to know is will a ***** patch for F.E.A.R. and FarCry, if I play multiplayer on a PB server can I get banned, because I heard that punkbuster detects a ***** patch as a modded file and you can get pb banned or something?

Virtual CD software, takes a few gigs of harddrive space, but is otherwise flawless.

Deamon tools or Alcohol 52%/120% will do the trick.

? Deamon tools and a 5-15MB image does the trick, theres no need to copy the entire DVD.

using a ***** patch could defently conflict with punkbuster, but mounting the image with daemon tools or another program defently wont cause any problems with pb

Do you have one I can use? or tell me what I need to make one and how to do it.

I use this with every game except Fear. That's the only game it has problems with because of the new copy protection. Basically this is a commercial imaging program. It works perfectly with BF2. I love it.
