i dont kno why people says xfx has a bad warranty..it has a DOUBLE lifetime warranty..id get the xfx...theyre good cards

Does XFX warranty cover 3rd party coolers, and overclocking? Evga's does.

That's the thing about eVGA, why would I want to have a double lifetime warrenty if I can return it back the manufacter, pay a small price, and get an even better video card? IMO, the step up program is better than any kind of double warrenty.

Step up only lasts 90 days.

I have a 7800GTX preOC'd XFX, it didn't artifact out of the box but it did when i coolbits'd it. It's still further oc'd just not as much as coolbits advised.

Of course it didn't OC out of the box. That has noting to do with the card, it's the drivers that decide if you can alter the clockspeed or not.
