Socket 478 Motherboards with PCI-E support?

Anyone know if there is a PCI-E board that uses Socket 478. The reason I'm asking is because I have a P4 3.0 GHz processor that is on a Socket 478 board and I was told that I couldn't use this processor on any other boards that aren't socket 478. So if that is true is there a PCI-E board I could uses my current processor with?

I that MB will only work with the pentium M.

I don't think there are any socket 478 MB that support PCI express.

yeah it looks that way. In any case there are socket 478 Pentium 4 PCIe mobos, but they are growing rarer by the day, i doubt many are around new any more.

Most were DDR1 i915P boards.

i too was interested in this, the closest i came was a 479 mobile pentium board that supported pci-e.

The thing is asustek created a converter for 479mobile processors to fit onto 478 mobos for desktop application of their mobile processors.

What i was looking for was the opposite, to fit a p 4, but all my inquirys were ignored, maybe ill try them again.

So as it stands right now now there are no mobos that support that configuration for a p4.

i doubt you will find one. its all about pci-e and socket t these days.... us 478 agp users are being phased out.

its ok tho, im determined to make the most out of my board until i finish college and can afford a brand spanking new system. :p
