When the FSB is increased the PCI bus (which drives your HD and other things) goes up as well, resulting in data corruption as well as other bad behavior. Most newer MOBOs have an option where you can lock the PCI bus at the proper frequency (66 or 67 Mhz).

and to add to that, Via chipsets prior to the K8T800Pro did not have a PCI/AGP lock. Im not sure which chipset you have, and even if you have the Pro you might have to manually set the board to have PCI locks. ie Move the settings from auto to a fixed 33/66mhz.

I don't know what you guys are talking about, all high? My PC can't get past 50fps in full 64 player servers on a fresh windows install except when I am out of the action. Taking the latest Dice/EA F*CK ups into account he'll be getting probably about 30fps in a decent sized server.

PS: If you say its my system or software I'll pray to God that he strikes you dead before you click the post button.

We have similar systems, at 12x10 you should be getting 75-100FPS constant, i know I do. If your running 16x12 or something larger than 50FPS is understandable.

PS. I dont believe in god :)

Well may he strike you down, slowly.

PS: With a 3dmark05 score above many systems with the same specs, and a fresh install of the game and windows, and the fact that the performance changed after the patch, one with a brain slightly larger than a pebble would assume its the game.

I just checked and the PCI/AGP frequencies were locked all along(Iv got the K8T800Pro chip), so It seems the highest my cpu will do is 2.2ghz.
                I shouldn't be worried anyway should I? 2.2ghz is 3500 speed.

No not worried, but thats a pretty **** poor OC, mine does 2.6-2.7ghz, but of course i have to add a little more voltage.

Have you tried upping the voltage? Say to around 1.40 - 1.42 volts for the CPU?

Well it depends what resolution you run, maxed out settings or not, 1024x768 vs 12080x1024 (what i run) vs 1600x1200 will make a tremendous difference in performance and FPS.

It says it is running at 1.6 (which is what my Abit OC guru set it at), is this too high?, would I get better performance if I lowered the voltage?

Thats pretty high, unless this is a clawhammer core, then thats only a little bit high. If its a winchester/venice thats flirting with CPU death.

That's not the highest your CPU will go, your just doing something wrong. Are you running a divider on your RAM?

I run at 1280. EA is at fault.

Sandra says my cpu is a winchester core btw, what voltage should it be running at?
And which do you recommend: OC'ing in Abit OC guru or OC'ing in the bios?

OC in the BIOS. 1.6 isn't dangerous, but it is high for that clockspeed.
