Hey, i dunno how many of these i have asked, but here we go.

What can i expect outta a 3500+ AMD 64, 2gig of ram, and a 7600GT 256mb, while maintaining 50+ FPS, i'll be running it on 1024X768, what kind of settings will i be able to run it on.

Also which out of the 7600gt 256, x850xt 256, or the 6800gs 512, would give superior performance.

All high. with 8x AA (via the nvidia drivers)

all high, 4x aa, MAYBE, and i mean MAYBE 8x like he said but dont get your hopes up. the 7600gt is good, not that good.

Yup all high, on 1024 x 768.. you might be able to scrape 8x AA... but im not sure about that, its quite high. But easily 4x AA. And as S.A.S said, get the 7600GT

You won't notice anything over 4xAA. Sounds like a good plan, but you should just get a 3000+ and do a simple clock change to 3500+. You'll save enough money to buy that G5 or Audigy 2 you may have been looking at.

i use 4x aa in my nvidia drivers, and I can tell the difference between 4x and higher, about to x8 maybe. but it still looks good.

Well, i was planning to buy a nice fan and a 3200+, and clock it from there.

You probably won't even need to buy a new HSF. You can pull off 2.4-2.6 GHz with a 3200+ using stock HSF with Arctic Silver 5 thermal compound.

You should be able to get between a 3800+ and a 4100+ average, 2.4-2.6. With a good chip, you'll hit 2.7-2.75 GHz on good air. The Artic Freezer 64 is a good quiet solution, but isn't the best in terms of cooling.

That could be because of a bunch of different reasons, not cpu heat related. The cpu in my signiture is a Winchester using stock HSF.

Could you recommend a better fan then, this 3200 is venice core i think too.
