^^^ Dont even go there... Im glad that Intel has finally got a solution, its about bloody time, and it will push AMD to new heights, which mean that we will be getting even better chips. Its great!

Im not biased, i go for the best at the time, if AMD is aheadm, then i will get an AMD, if Intel, then ill get an Intel. The P4's just couldnt cut it for gaming, and im glad they finally decided to move away from that architecture.

The pricing of the Conroes is flaky. I couldn't ever seen Intel jumping into the game with a $300 FX60. As usual, I'll make my decisions based on fact and not swallow any marketing.

Well wrech the chip might be finalised, but like you posted about the bios problems meaning it is still in development. If everything about the chip was done it would have been release. I know about the Conroe on Ebay, it was an engineering sample that was sold by the way. And to whoever said that there's no way AMD is going to hand over the battle to Intel, just so you know sometimes there's nothing that can be done. If AMD can counter good for them, but as of right now, they have not said anything to counter Conroe, and until i read or see different, as of right now, i believe Intel will be wining the coming CPU wars.
P.S. The consumer CPU's, i do believe that AMD might be better on the server side of the house.
