So who's exited, i personally can't wait. There was a website, someone got a samply of the one that runs at 2.6, it completed pi calculation in 21 seconds i believe. Hopefully it does not take too long for it to come out.

I know about the super PI thread in XS, not THG. So this excitement is soley based on super PI scores?

Apparently it can beat a FX-60, even OC'ed to 2.8Ghz... There is another poat about it with a link.

You or your intel chip cannot calculate Pi, it keeps going for ever, infact prove it!

Those tests were run on two Intel set up and configured PC's. Call me a skeptic, but I'll wait for independent tests not set up by the people who are trying to make their processor look better.

^^ Pi is a never ending number... It can not be calculated to an exact number. It is impossible.

I agree that its bias, but it still imopressive, and i too cant wait for independant tests, it will be very interesting.
