HELP! PSU for this Computer

I'm just buying this new computer to hopefully last the next batch of games in for the next few years, but I've been advised that the PSU I'm purchasing from www.nicx.com (I live in Canada) is much to low at 380 WAtts.

He says that he has a 7600 at 128MB and that he needs over 500 Watt to keep it working. I found this to be a bit extreme but I'm going to take every precation necessary. Do you think a 380 Watt PSU is good enough, or if so what wattage should be adequate. Any help is greatly appreciated.

I wouldn't reccomend using that one.

What is your budget for a new PSU?

How do you think this case would do? It's dirt cheap and has a fairly capable PSU. (I think)

Whover said you need a 500+ watt for that system doesn't know what they're talking about. For that setup 380 Watts should be fine assuming it's a good brand (Antec cases usually come with Antec PSUs which are very reliable) A lower wattage PSU from a good mfg is 100 times better than a higher wattage from a cheap brand. A no-name brand PSU may have unstable fluctuations and weak rails and burn out on you and could take the whole mobo with it. Good brands are Antec, Tagan, Seasonic, OCZ, Zalman, or if you want the best of the best, PC Power & Cooling will never break on you but they are $$$. Check out this wattage calculator:

Darn forgot the link. Now i know is, what 50 CDN, but when i heard mopar say that the antec 380 watt, I think, should it it, then im not sure anymore. The antec case with 380 wattage is 120 CDN or so. So is it worth 70 bucks worth the, in my opinion, better looking but less powerful PSU?

Buy the case you like better, then just buy a better PSU.
