Curved keyboard?

I'm getting a new keyboard this week, and saw this one of microsoft:

i can also go for one of these two:
Logitech UltraX

my question is if anyone has experience or owns a curved keyboard such as in the first link. Theoratically (spelling lol)it should type much better but i don't know if that is true. Advise please :)

I have owned the curved (ergonomic), keyboards for about four years now. When I go back to the standard flat I notice the hand cramping right away. The curved keyboards are way better for comfort and I do find that after you get used to it you type much faster. If you do decide to go ergonomic then give yourself a couple of weeks to adapt. If you are concerned about health and possible medical complications later in life there is no other way to go.

thanks for the advise,

i spend a LOT of time everyday on my computer, doing stuff for school and bf2 etc. I don't have trouble with health or having an mouse-arm. but to avoid getting it i use my powerball everyday (works on the muscles too lol :) )right now i have a crappy 8 year old noisy keyboard so it's in need of a replacement. anyway, the keyboard you have seems to be a lot more curved than the curve 2000 keyboard in my first post, or is it just me?

Yeah, it's pretty curved compared to the standard. It's also more comfortable and has a nice suede-like palm rest.

Trust me, you will notice how uncomfortable a flat keyboard is once you start using one of these. After about a month go back and try to type on a standard flat.

curved keyboards are good one of my computer class's in school uses them. (yeah and we have some crapy computers too)

You know the first keyboard, you posted ? It is a beaut keyboard. The keys are soft to touch, good keys for opening browsers and such. It's gennerally nice and it's spill proof, so by all means, throw water on it. It's got Led display for numlock and stuff and a button for a calculator. It''s really nice, curved keyboards are great tot twype with aswell.

I think i'll go with the keyboard/mouse deal.. it comes with a nice optical mouse so that's ok... and the price is very nice :)

NB. It is not beer spill proof, sadly.

They only trouble i had with it was adjusting to the keys, yes they are in a better place but after years of having them all the same size its very odd to try and type on one and took me a while to adjust.

I go from a regular keyboard at school, to a curved one at home, and I'd have to say that I like my curved one better.

I still don't know if such a curve as in wreck's keyboard is too big for me to adapt to. maybe the curve 2000 will be a nice transition from plain old keyboard to ergonomical boards...
