you could put view to 100 and you should play absolutely fine on 64 man server.

      Re: Video Card

You can put it to 1024*768 all at medium settings and run it real smooth. And 100% distance scale.

Thats what I run mine on, and its:

      Amd 3200+@ 2.2GHz
      XFX 6600GT 128mb PCI-e
      1GB Dual Channel

          Re: Video Card

Maybe some of them high. but i would leave it at medium if you dont want to have to keep switching settings. But its a personal preference.

i would recommend it. (to stabalize your system). Also your computer wont crap out on you and turn off in the middle of a battle.

if teh card says 350Watt, and you have a 250wat.. You better not play with the 6600gt, using the 250watt. it can cause major damage to parts. I highly suggest you get a new PSU first...

Yeah it does seem like a bad idea.

If you end up killing that 250watt it could take other components with it on it's way out.

$150 on sale. I hope that's Canadian dollars. If it's US you are overpaying. newegg has them for $120 or so.

I'll ahve 2gigs tommorow, but I play Med settings, 100% view distance, and on 64 man servers. It's not to bad, but make sure You're up to date on the Nvidia drivers .

Get the best you can afford.

Basically it's just four screws on the back of the case. Other than that all it involves is plugging things in with the same type of connector they have in them now. Take a picture of how everything is plugged in before you do anything. Then just unscrew the four screws on the back of the PSU, unplug all the power and swap it out. It's pretty easy to do.
