What things must change for playing on high???

    These are my important specs:

    AMD Athlon 64 3000+ (2,0 Ghz)
Asus K8N4-E Deluxe (NVIDIA nForce 4)
    Asus Geforce 6800GT:evil:
    2x512mb RAM (don't know from who? )
    450Watt PSU (dunno where it's from? )

Please say what is the problem on my pc??

we need more info, whats the problem u say, well we dunt know, what serttings u playing on now & whats ur average frame rate. To see ur frame rate pull down the consol (` button below Esc) & type renderer.drawfps 1, press enter, the numbers on the left show ur FPS.

Once we have this information we can then answer ur question.
PS i rekon thi by looking @ ur specs u need 2GB ram for High on everything.

Fully agree, 2Gigs is a must if you want to play on high.

Yeah i say more memory. Also what resolution are you running on??? The 6800GT is a great card, but this game will punish it at high resolutions =)

2 gigs of ram did the trick for me, and I only have the 6600GT :)

IT ALL DEPENDS, having a dual core processer has nothing to do with RAM amount. I would say, he should be able to play at high as of right now. witha 3200+, a 6800gs and one gig of ram I could too. yes more ram will definitly help, and the processer is okay I guess. make sure everything is good first though, not too many Background processes stuff like that.

I find that kind of hard to belive, when I use to have 1GB of ram it was impossible to run "everything" on high, textures at best had to be on medium. But with 2GB I am able to run high textures with no problems at all. My 6600GT is getting old i can feel it... time for a new one.

I used to have 1gb and found you would experience stuttering, especially at the start of the round, but since upgrading to 2Gb the stuttering has totally gone. I'm sure there are many on these forums who will agree with me, I see new threads created all the time stating this, where people have gone from 1-2 and seen a massive performance increase.

Yes he can play on high, but the game will stutter from now and then. So if he want's to play in high, and the gameplay be fluent, 2 Gigs is recomended. There was an article on toms hardware, they compare that game with and with two gigs the FPS didn't fluctuate as much as with just one gig.
