.. I highly doubt that a Dell laptop is capable of that card. It'll probably need mobile graphics..however if Dell came through for once maybe.

go to the dell website, and also try contacting them. thats probably the only way (and that IS IF your laptop is able to upgrade to that card)

That will run fine on your standard 90w power supply

so i guess its a 90watt but incloki said it would work fine......so yea.......also if this comes to anybodys mind.....woudl a 6800 go ultra be pretty much the same thing as in compatiability?

                Re: Nvivia 6800 Go 256MB

well first off, you need a PCie slot, and the card needs to be PCie. then you need to be able to have room and stuff in your laptop to put the card in. then you have to go to dell and make sure they have the part, send in your laptop and they put it in. its very hard.
but a company called MXM has created a form-factor for GPU upgrades in laptopsso it wont be as confusing as this. next time you buy a laptop make sure the GPU is MXM xxxx if you ever want to upgrade.

you could put the card in your self.......and arent all PCI express cards the same size.......i think so!

Desktop PCIe cards yes...are all the same size. But laptops are a completely different beast. Odds are you cant upgrade it. Even if it says PCIe or MxM theres still only like a 10% chance it will fit. The laptop vendors and makers buy the chips and place them onto proprietary circuit boards with custom fans. So odds of y ou getting one that fits your laptop are not good.
