Well i might be in the market for a new pc case, and im looking for something that will realy wow people. Does anyone know any cool sites that have all sorts of cases, besides newegg(ive looked through all of them), maybe someone can tell me some popular models and or brandnames. Thanks, slayer.

www.xoxide.com has many good and cool cases. many of them they made themselves I would definitly check it out.

Those are really nice. If you just want an umodded case to work on, most people like lan-li. My personal favorite is the Thermaltake Tsunami case.

I used to have all my Compaq components in a Logisys case, but the case broke rather easily and really didn't look that good.

Nice, same here, i got the Thermaltake Tsunami. ANyways, for beginner case modders, Lian-Li is the way to go. On Frozencpu u can buy replacement parts if u mess up, also, they are very proven and are very durable. Also, you shoulda seen what some guy did to his ANtec Super-Lanparty (i think that's the right name) he modded it to the ultimate-Doom 3 gaming machine, i don't have the link, but somebody else has to.

I did that once! It was fun.

Anyway, I have an Aspire X-Pack which, if you are considering mATX, is great. It's a little bit flimsly sometimes, but it has to be that way if it is going to be lightweight. I have had no quality problems yet...

EDIT: I hadn't looked at your specs... I see you have a nice mobo, so I doubt you would go mATX. But I, like you, like my Aspire.

My suggestion is to buy a plain, well ventalated case, and make the customizations yourself. Provided that you have tools to do such a thing, a dremmel or rotozip is usually all you need. That is the only true way to have a custom case unelss you go to a custom computer place that will customize it for you.

Any case from a manufacturer is just cookie cutter crap that is like the ohter hundreds right off the assembly line. It is what you do with your case that makes it custom.

I am considering a case where you can upgrade from Air Cooling to Liquid any time in the future. (When the wife has had enough of the 4 Jet Turbines roaring in her head.) It's a full tower in the Thermaltake line. I am researching other similar cases. The power supply will be a 1 Kilowatt unit from www.xoxide.com.
