I still think buying a laptop for playing games is stupid. It's better to buy a $600 PC and $400 laptop than one gaming laptop for 1.5x cost.

Inspiron 6000D with 128m X300 works for me on medium. Cost: 750.

Well from what I've seen on the dell site there aren;t any good notebooks available. Only the XPS starting at $1,999, there were selling I6000's but I think there out of those. All the other laptops suck on there and can only go as high as like 6600 go GFX card. I would go for somthing better. So right now the dell site isnt the place to look. FROM WHAT IVE SEEN

NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO to CYBERPOWER!!!!!!!! I have one of their SLI desktops!!!! Nothin but trouble. SLI has not worked since I got the computer. Their tech support blows! If you like waiting on hold only to be told a tech will call back band then never does!!! STAY AWAY FROM CYBERPOWER!!! Check out the ratings of that store at resellerratings.com. I have filed a complaint about them with the BBB and the California Atourney generals office!

so is that high or medium settings all togethor? and i guess if that is medium at least i would be able to play medium with a X700 128mb card.....and ur gfx card only has 64mb

It should if all your other specs are as good too. How much ram and cpu will you have in the laptop your buying?

yea thats pretty good but I would go for more ram like 2gb or 1.5. The more the better!! You might be able to play with most things on Medium and somethings on high.

2Ghs is really enough for BF2, because Is Turion64, Hz doesnt count as much.
