Laptop Under $1400 that can play BF2 at medium settings?

Sony S360. I think it's under $1400, and it plays on medium ok-ish, but plays on low perfectly. Other than that....you're not going to find a computer suiting your criteria.

my friend has a sony with a 6200 and can play on low (although he jacks up the vitrual memory and plays on medium on single player with tons of lag)

you should go to notebookreview.com and ask there.

they have more knowledge on notebooks. I myself have the i9300 (which has the 6800 go) and play on medium settings.

For 1400 you could probably get a laptop that can play bf2 at HIGH settings, as long as you stay away from the directly overcharged name brands.

Unless you're really mobile, a micro PC and 17" LCD is the best plan.

Wow that's a good deal on an alienware. I was expecting a Celeron with MX400 graphics.

edit: Wait nvm, you have to pay a load to get the X1600, ram, etc.

On the plus side it has 256mb video and 2gb ram and a 17 inch screen there are other configs you could make.
The reason I went with the Intel is it has the Nvidia video the AMD which is what I prefer only had the 128mb M200 from ATI.

This one came out to be $1774.98 I did this config at the www.shoppping.hp.com

You should check out the site and try some diffrent configs you might get closer to what you want to pay than I did.

where did you buy the i9300 i cant find it on the dell site?

PS i was looking at that cyberpower one a while ago but it only has 128mb GFX

It also depends what country mate, i bought mine for AUS$2200 which is about US$1500, so yeh. Dell I6000, runs on med/low perfectly!

i would like to have one with atleast 256MB if possible.....ps if u guys know i would like to know what settings i could use with the computers that u guys are suggesting!
