Help build a computer?

I didnt know were i could go but was wondering if any of u computer people that build computers could help me with something. I need to upgrade my computer and i want to replace my Proc, G-card and Motherboard. I posted a newer powersupply on seconde post. 1 gig or Crucial Ram (2 512 DDR 400) and a X-fi sound card. and http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16814195002 this for my G-card. my question is, would all this be compatibale with each other. If it isnt, just tell me or could u tell me what would be a good choice? If u cant then thats fine. thx if u do help.

I'm no expert, but there is no way a 350 watt PSU will support a 1900XT... You will need 500+ minimum...

yea dude, definetely need a new powersupply for that vid. card... A 550W will the job pretty well....

Aspire is complete garbage, the first PSU the Anec he posted will do just fine with a single GPU.

Get an Asus A8N-E motherboard instead (this has the N force 4 Ultra chipset which is just better than standard - trust me).

You want at least a 450 Watt reliable brand PSU: Tagan, Enermax, Antec are good. Make sure you get one that is ATX 2.01 compliant (as this has the 24 pin motherboard supply and a 4 pin 12 volt supply for the CPU. It will also have PCI-Ex power connectors).

Get 2 gig of a Corsair matched pair... Doesn't need to be expensive, just a matched pair of 1 Gig DDR400 sticks will do. These go in slots A1 and B1 (1+3) of the DIMMs on your A8N-E motherboard - this enables dual channel.

Agreed the aspire power supplies SUCK, i have an aspire case and love it but the
psu is terrible mine fried in 2 months.

Pfff are you serious?!? Wow, they almost all had positive reviews... What company would you recommend thats cheap but reliable? I know Antecs are reliable but they are a bit pricy...

Pfff are you serious?!? Wow, they almost all had positive reviews... What company would you recommend thats cheap but reliable? I know Antecs are reliable but they are a bit pricy...

Sry but hes right, and besides i would only go with Antec with PSUs. They have been good to me so i will stick with em :P

Agreed the aspire power supplies SUCK, i have an aspire case and love it but the
psu is terrible mine fried in 2 months.

I use an aspire PSU and it works fine no problems at all had it for about 9 months now.

my general rule:

if a brand works fine for you, no sense in switching to another. I found that out when I switched from nVidia to ATI. I went from an nvidia 5200 ultra to an ATI 9800 and had nothing but problems. I RMAed several times, so I just got a refund and went back to my trusty 5200 Ultra. It was worth the decrease in performance.
