Windows x64 pro Playing games like crap

Hi

Today i put on windows x64 and it works fine out of games but as soon as i go into a games like BF2 and CS:s it goes hay wire, it jaults like mad and is doing an avergae of 10fps. My other hard drive with home on it is fine. But has anyone got any sudjestions whats wrong?

All games have been patch and drivers are uptodate.

Looks like new mobo drivers just came out today, give them a try.

Otherwise check nvidia.com for the reference drivers

i dont get why people want x64... I mean, even MS says dont get it unless you are some hardcore developer.

Its not the OS, its most likely drivers. im running XP64 fine.

My Win x64 runs all my games no prob with same mobo here a web site for info on x64 http://www.planetamd64.com/ get the x64 drivers for your mobo & vid card from NVidia site. Only load the device drivers for mobo DO NOT install the firewall or networking stuff its crap & has known problems.

k ive decided tommorow im going to reinstall x64 and have enougher go! and follow the steps you recommend!

but if i dont install any networking stuff then my erthenet wont work am i right?, i dont put the firewall on anyway as its **** lol

Just make sure to get the correct drivers. They are out there (contrary to what some people believe) but they are just a little harder to find because they wont be on your driver disks.
