Nvidia n force 4 K8N SLI nad some new Ram

Guys

Can anyone recommend some new RAM for the above Motherboard .

I currently have 2 strips of 512 DDR and i want a total of 2Gb .

Do i add another 2 stripps of 512 or do i but 2 1gb strips and why ?

What Ram do you reccomend ?

You'd better change your 2x512 for 2x1GB Geil or Patriot

There are 2 types of RAM " Double sided " (chips on both sides, cheaper most RAM made this way) & "Single side" (chips on only 1 side, more expensive $). Depending on MOBO & Processor but most if you use 4 double sided chips it will drop memory speed from 400MHz to 333MHz because of the power consumption, not a problem with Single sided chips.
