Which new mouse should i get ?

Mx510 or Mx518, they have two side buttons that make web browsing very easy. Allows for backward and forward navigation at the touch of a button, also useful for gaming as for instance I have rear plane view and cockpit view programmed when I fly in BF2, i can switch off very easily.

The onyl advantage the 518 has over the 510 is a higher default DPI and the ability to switch DPI on the fly through the use of a button.

I personally have the Mx510 and will keep it until it breaks, it has been very good to me over the last year.

Bah dont listen too these guys get the G5 , ive owned the mx500 and 518 and yes theres a differnce . The G5 is more acurate and yes u lose a side button but u gain 2 buttons on the tilt wheel. And my mx518 pads wore done perty fast . Ive had the G5 since Nov and theres hardly any wear . Allso the G5 has a lower profile so its more comfortable . And a faster polling rate at 500hz not 125hz like the mx518. Just go buy the damn thing im sick of talking lol :laugh:

I had the mx518 but upgraded to the G5 lazer, well happy, made by gamers for gamers, the weight control cartridge is excellent and 2000dpi, accuracy is definatly better.
