Ditch the PSU, get an Antec or entermax to be safe. Drop the DVD/RW get one with a better bundled buring/DVD software package. Drop the HDD and get a SATA drive with 8 or preferably 16MB of cache.

I would A. get a better PSU, as stated and B.
though the price difference isnt too bad, I would get an Amd Athlon 64 3200+ instead of a 3500+. it costs less, performs almost EXACTLY the same, and if it doesnt...it overclocks like a champ.
