It will play, but on low and at 800x600. In my opinion, that's not "running well."

What is too expensive? Alot of people on these boards myself included think a $600 card is to expensive, but would jump on a good performing $350 card.

Whats your budget? and just FYI dont expect great performance for under $150

Yeah, I kind of expected bad results... I mean, as long as I can play with the thing, I'm good...

I wouldn't probably be able to get anything over $300 dollars...

The funny part is my computer guru said this was a good card for BF2... That bastard....

i am currently running that card. it will run on the lowest settings at about 10 -20 fps when not in battle.its not worth s***. every time i play the lag makes me wanna smash my tower.

thats why im building a new 1 from scratch.... i went with the 7900gtx nvidia {only $500, and will last u years} just waiting to buy my cpu... then i can shoot this POS of a tower and video card:laugh:

You can get a damn good card for under 300, but you'd probably need to do a bunch of upgrades since you currently don't have a PCIe slot. You might not even have an AGP slot.

What parts do you have in your omputer right now? Or is it a prebuilt computer like a Dell?

And now that I see that that card is only PCI, not AGP, I have high doubts of it even running BF2...
