Hi, im lost

i just got the game and i havnt D/L and mods or anything, but im having trouble getting onto a ranked server. is there anything i have to do or be or eat, b4 i can get onto these servers. and also, does anyone acctually use the voice com system, or do ppl just use teamspeak? and ore there any other game modes besides conquest, or is that it. I no i sound like a total noob, and i feel like one too, but im so confused. one more question, does single player realy suck that much, or am i just not seeing the whole thing?

Hi and welcome.
to play in servers you have to download the latest patch of battlefield 2 (can be found at http://www.ea.com/official/battlefie...ield2/us/downl Battlefield 2 v1.21 (376MB)
And many of them use teamspeak yes, sometimes they use the voice com.
Single player suck? I don't know, never played it yet but multiplayer is just awesome. Well I hope I helped you and ones again, welcome and have fun :)

Yes single player sucks. I have mine on expert and can win the round with out any help from my team. I have ts and us in game vip to play with no clan mbers in my squad. hope you get the game to work. Just so you know if you get the Sf pack to bf2 you have to unistall and reinstall both bf2 and then add the sf then the patch. I found out the hard way.

the "sf pack" is the special forces expansion pack, its different from the booster packs.

Yea, the booster packs are smaller packs that just add a few items or a new team, the special forces expansion pack is a true expansion pack, new maps, players, weapons, etc etc..

Yes, just the 1.21 full client, it contains all of the fixes and additions contained in previous versions.
